New Delhi: There is a good opportunity for youth looking for jobs in Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has invited applications for Act Apprentice in Eastern Railway. Under this, 2792 vacant posts will be filled. Candidates wishing to apply will be able to apply online by July 9, 2020.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed 10th or its equivalent with 50 per cent marks from a recognized board. Along with this, candidates should also have a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT / SCVT. At the same time, National Trade Certificate with 8th pass is required for the posts of Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General).
Age Range
Candidates applying for these posts should have a minimum age of 15 years and a maximum of less than 24 years. In the maximum age limit, 5 years relaxation has been provided for SC / ST, 3 years for OBT-NCL candidates and 10 years for PWBD candidates.
Selection process
The selection of candidates will be on merit basis. In this, the marks of ITI along with the 10th or 8th marks of the candidates will also be seen.
